Grand Master’s Palace, Valletta Special Opening

On Sunday 5^th May, Heritage Malta is inviting you to experience the marvellous Grand Master’s Palace, opening once more for the public at a reduced price.

Newly restored and proudly dominating St George’s Square in the heart of Valletta, the Grand Master’s Palace takes visitors on a journey along its 450 years of history as a centre of power and the symbol of a nation.

Immerse yourself in this national treasure’s splendour whilst striding in delight along its iconic knights-lined corridors. Let yourself be transported across the Palace’s rich history by joining one of the animated tours, taking place at 09:30 (Maltese), 10:30 (English), 11:30 (Maltese) and 12:30 (English).

The Malta Historical Fencing Association and the Fridericus Rex Malta Falconers will be entertaining the crowds throughout the day, sharing their skills and knowledge with curious guests.

If you are a confirmed history geek, we suggest you also include a visit to the Heritage Malta membership one-stop-shop during this event, where you will be able to acquire your very own membership card and start benefitting even more as you explore our national heritage. Students and seniors can collect their Heritage Malta passport on the day.

The Palace will be open from 09:00 till 18:00.
