Special notices

All Heritage Malta museums and sites are closed on 1 January, Good Friday and on 19, 24, 25 & 31 December.

Last admission for all Museums and Sites is 30 minutes before closing time.

GRAN CASTELLO HISTORIC HOUSE
The left wing of the complex is currently closed off due to maintenance work.

MUŻA
The ‘Il-Folla’ display area on MUŻA’s ground floor is temporarily closed for scheduled works, until further notice.

GRAND MASTER’S PALACE

The ‘Disasters of War’ exhibition and the Palace staterooms will be closed to the public on December 13. Only the Armoury will be accessible from 11:30 am onwards.

On December 20th, the staterooms of the Grand Master’s Palace will close at 12.30 pm.
Only the Armoury will remain open.

2026

The staterooms of the Grand Master’s Palace will be closed ALL DAY on the following dates:

  • 15th January
  • 16th January

Only the Armoury will be open on the specified days.

The staterooms of the Grand Master’s Palace will be closed until 1.00 pm on the following dates.

  • 28th January
  • 18th February
  • 25th March
  • 29th March
  • 27th May
  • 24th June

Only the Armoury will be open on the specified days, as the staterooms will reopen after that time.
