Special notices
Gran Castello Historic House
The left wing of the complex is currently closed off due to maintenance work.
MUŻA
> As from Monday 5th January 2026, the MUŻA Ground Floor galleries will be closed for the public due to refurbishment works. The galleries shall reopen again on Monday 2nd February 2026.
> On Thursday 5th February, the museum will open at 12:30 pm.
Underground Valletta
will be closed on the following dates:
- 18th January
- 19th January
- 21st January
Notices for all sites
All Heritage Malta museums and sites are closed on 1 January, Good Friday and on 24, 25 & 31 December.
Last admission for all Museums and Sites is 30 minutes before closing time.
Grand Master’s Palace
The Throne Room will remain closed to the public until further notice.
The staterooms will be closed ALL DAY on the following dates:
- 15th January
- 16th January
Only the Armoury will be open on the specified days.
The staterooms will be closed until 1.00 pm on the following dates.
- 28th January
- 18th February
- 25th March
- 29th March
- 27th May
- 24th June
Only the Armoury will be open on the specified days, as the staterooms will reopen after that time.
