Opening Hours

Kindly note all Heritage Malta museums and sites are closed on 24, 25 & 31 December, 1 January & Good Friday.

From Monday 5^th August to Thursday 31^st October 2024, five Heritage Malta sites – the National Museum of Archaeology, Fort St Elmo and the National War Museum, Fort St Angelo, the ‘An Island at the Crossroads’ exhibition at the Malta Maritime Museum, and Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Archaeological Park, will extend their hours to 09:00-19:00 daily.

On September 8th, and October 6th, Fort St Elmo will be closed to the public. We regret any inconvenience caused. Last minute tickets for the Hypogeum can be purchased from the National Museum of Archaeology in Valletta on these dates.

Last admission for all sites is 30 minutes before closing time.
