From 2D to 3D in Art

On Tuesday 3rd September, young ones aged 7 and over are invited to join us in a delightful hands-on activity titled ‘From Canvas to Creation: Transforming Paintings into 3D Masterpieces’, at MUŻA in Valletta.

Participants in this activity will draw inspiration from captivating paintings in the museum’s natural collection, unleash their creativity and transform them into dynamic 3D artworks. They will explore the depths of the sea, bringing to life vibrant coral reefs and majestic underwater creatures, using a variety of materials skilfully assembled in a collage-like manner.

This session combines artistic expression with the beauty of marine life, offering a unique opportunity to create stunning representations of the ocean’s splendour.

The activity is offered in two sessions – one in English at 9:30am and one in Maltese at 11:15am. Secure your child’s spot early, either online on Store – Heritage Malta or at any Heritage Malta museum or site. One adult is to accompany each participating child.
