Heritage Malta and Stavanger Maritime Museum (MUST) are excited to announce a public hybrid conference titled “Clean Oceans and Mapping Our Seas” on Wednesday, June 19th.

This event will delve into how advanced digitization technology can mitigate the negative impacts of human activity on our oceans and help preserve the associated cultural heritage.

The conference will host distinguished keynote speakers from the European Commission, UNESCO, Heritage Malta’s Digitization and Underwater Cultural Heritage Unit, and experts from various European countries.

They will present case studies and best practices related to the 3D digitization of maritime cultural heritage. This event is held under the patronage of the European Commission’s TwinIt! initiative and is funded by the Malta Norway bilateral fund.

Due to high demand, on-site participation at the Malta Maritime Museum is fully booked.
