Join us for a delicious dive into the history and art of pasta-making during 'Għaġin bil-Pixxispad’ on Monday, 29th July 2024, at the Inquisitor’s Palace in Birgu.
This beloved dish has transcended centuries and social classes, enjoyed by everyone from the humblest of homes to the most sophisticated tables.
In this bilingual session, participants will make fresh pasta from scratch and pair it with swordfish, a staple in Maltese cuisine. Historically, swordfish were speared, especially in the Strait of Messina, where skilled fishermen stood on special footbridges, spear in hand.
kids from 09:00 till 11:30, and for adults from 18:30 till 21:00.
Adult participants will be offered a glass of wine during each session, enhancing the culinary experience with a touch of local flavour. All attendees are encouraged to bring an extra container to take home their delicious creations.
