After discussions held in these last hours between the Office of the Principal Permanent Secretary within the Office of the Prime Minister, the Ministry for the National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government, and the Department for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention within the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, Heritage Malta is announcing that as a measure of prevention against the Coronavirus Disease COVID-19, the National Museums operated by Heritage Malta, are closing for visitors with immediate effect until another official communication is issued.
