Heritage Malta is organising a guided tour of the island of Comino on Sunday 6th of May. This heritage trail will focus on the Knights fortifications that were built on the island to safeguard the coastal waters of the area. Special attention will also be given to the flora and fauna found on the island by a Heritage Malta Principal Curator who will be accompanying the group.

Those taking part in this event shall meet with Heritage Malta representatives in Cirkewwa at 08.30hrs, from where transport will be provided to Comino. Arrival?at?Santa Maria Bay scheduled for?09.30hrs. The walking tour will then make its way?to the Annunciation chapel, followed by a visit to the Santa Maria Battery. Afterwards, participants will have the opportunity to visit the imposing Santa Maria Tower. The group will then enjoy some free-time for a short break before making its way down to the Blue Lagoon. Transport will be offered back to Cirkewwa from the Blue Lagoon at around 16.00hrs.

Tickets are limited and can be bought from all of Heritage Malta?s sites and museums prior to the event.
