Heritage Malta will be opening two of its museums for free to the general public on Saturday 8th of September, a public holiday. The museums included within this open day are the National War Museum in Valletta and the Malta Maritime Museum in Birgu.

During this open day visitors will also have the opportunity to become members of Heritage Malta at a discounted rate. Membership includes free entrance to Heritage Malta’s sites and museums for one year and a 50% discount on the normal ticket price for admission to the Hal Saflieni?Hypogeum. Apart from discounts on Heritage Malta’s publications, members also have the opportunity to participate in events that are organised specifically for them throughout the year.

The National War Museum and the Malta Maritime Museum will be open from 09.00hrs till 17.00hrs (last admission at 16.30hrs).
