One for tomorrow’s archaeologists!

On Wednesday 23rd April, Heritage Malta is inviting children aged between 8 and 12 to discover the world of archaeology in a unique way at the fascinating National Museum of Archaeology in Valletta.

What better way for young ones to make best use of their Easter holidays than to learn about their roots whilst making fun memories? Young participants in this event will first enjoy a guided tour of the museum, which houses a spectacular collection of artefacts from the Maltese Islands’ prehistory and early history, dating back to Malta’s Neolithic period (5900-2500BC) up till the early Phoenician period (8^th-6^th century BC).

Following this, participants will wash pottery and mark archaeological finds just like real experts in the field. Every artefact tells a story, and we will uncover it together!

Sessions will be taking place at 9:30am (Fully Booked), 10:30 am (Fully Booked) and 12:00pm (Fully Booked), and will be offered in both Maltese and English according to participants’ needs.
