On Sunday 21st December, you are invited to a hands-on festive cooking session at the magnificent Inquisitor’s Palace in Birgu, a historical gem that once served as the seat of the Holy Roman Inquisition in Malta. Within these centuries-old walls, we will prepare two of the island’s most beloved Christmas treats.
Our culinary journey begins at 2:00pm, with the quintessential Maltese Christmas pudina – a rich, spiced pudding steeped in tradition and nostalgia. As the pudina bakes, witness the mesmerizing dance of diffusion through air and water, perfectly synchronized with the baking process. It is a feast for the senses!
Whilst it bakes, we will prepare the imbuljuta, a heartwarming, velvety blend of chocolate, chestnuts, and spice – perfect for these colder days of the year.
You can reserve your spot through Heritage Malta’s online store here or at any Heritage Malta museum or site.
