The Farsons Brewery Experience – Members’ Event

On Sunday 22nd March, we are inviting our esteemed members to a frothy morning at the Farsons Brewery Experience in Mrieħel. Together, we will discover the fascinating story behind one of Malta’s favourite beers and brands.

Nowadays, it’s hard to imagine life in our hot climate without a cold pint ready at hand. But beer was not always the drink of choice. Discover how the arrival of the British Armed Forces ingrained a trend that tipped the balance of our drinking habits forever, whilst exploring the evolution of beermaking in Malta.

Attendees will tour the 1950 Farsons Brewery, a true feat of engineering and architecture, enjoying interactive exhibits, vintage brewing equipment, and engaging storytelling along the way. Afterwards, they are invited to indulge in a refreshing beer-tasting tray at The Cisk Tap, making this event a must for beer enthusiasts and history lovers alike.

Two tours will be held – one starting at 9.30am and another at 10:30am – with a maximum capacity of 25 people per tour.

Tickets, available at the exclusively discounted rate of €10 each, may be booked online or physically at any Heritage Malta museum or site.
