Raft Rules! Sailing the Seas of Teamwork

On Wednesday 9th July at 16:30, we are inviting children aged 8 to 12 to get strategic in a fun, energetic workshop at MUŻA – Malta’s National Community Art Museum in Valletta.

Young participants will climb aboard the ‘raft’ of collaboration and creativity! The session invites the children to dive into the themes of active citizenship, teamwork, and community through movement and hands-on expression.

The experience begins with an energising group activity where participants must work together to keep their imaginary raft afloat – navigating a scenario that challenges their cooperation and awareness of others.

In the second half, the focus shifts to social responsibility and the power of young voices. Participants will create protest banners on issues they care deeply about, exploring what it means to stand up for those who cannot speak for themselves and to speak out for change.

Together we will explore how every voice matters and how, united, we can make waves.

Tickets cost €10 (or €8 for Heritage Malta members) and include entry for one accompanying adult. Book online here or visit any Heritage Malta site to reserve your spot.

This activity forms part of Heritage Malta’s Student Passport Summer Programme 2025.
