On Friday 9th June, Heritage Malta is inviting all its members to an exclusive Curator’s Tour at Fort St Elmo’s cavalier, and a complimentary glass of wine in the Fort’s majestic Piazza d’Armi.

Perched atop this star-shaped fort stands a unique complex of Malta’s military history: the Harbour Fire Command, a structure built to defend the Grand Harbour and Marsamxett Harbour, which witnessed some of the earliest fatalities of World War II and was used during the only seaborne attack against Malta during that war.

We will meet at 17:45 at the entrance of Fort St Elmo and the National War Museum, and the tour will start at 18:00. Following the tour all attending members will be able to enjoy the unique atmosphere created by the Night at the Museum event, which will now be taking place on the same evening.

Tickets will be available shortly at any of our museums and sites on presentation of a valid Heritage Malta membership card, and online here. The presentation of HM Membership cards/ proof of HM membership will be requested on the day.
