Calling tomorrow’s leaders!

On Wednesday 6th August, we are inviting children aged 8 to 12 to sharpen their decision-making and leadership skills in a fictional town council meeting taking place at MUŻA – The National Community Art Museum in Valletta.

Young participants will step into leadership roles, invent a town, and tackle real-world issues like the “great dog debate”. Through imaginative role-play, group discussions, and voting, children will learn about civic responsibility, compromise, and active citizenship.

This lively afternoon workshop, starting at 16:30, offers a playful yet powerful introduction to democratic decision-making and community engagement.

Tickets are just €10 (or €8 for Heritage Malta Members) and include entry for one accompanying adult. Book online on Store – Heritage Malta or visit any Heritage Malta site to reserve your spot.

The event lasts 1hr and 30mins.
Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.
Ages given are just a suggestion – this event can be enjoyed by students who are 2 years younger or older.

This activity forms part of Heritage Malta’s Student Passport Summer Programme 2025.
