On Friday 28th October,experience a unique night at the Inquisitor’s Palace, as popular traditions and beliefs in souls and the afterlife take the centre stage.
Participants will first be guided through the currently ongoing Dumnikani fil-Palazz exhibition. Afterwards they will be able to enter the Dominican Priory and access areas and view items related to the theme of death and the afterlife which are not accessible to the general public. Following this, everyone will be served a thematic traditional supper, while Ġużi Gatt will highlight its significance. Finally, anyone of the participants feeling courageous enough, will be able to sleep-over at either one the seventeenth-century prison cells, or elsewhere back at the Inquisitor’s Palace.
L-Għid tal-Erwieħ will be held in Maltese. Meeting point: 19:00 hrs, Inquisitor’s Palace reception, Birgu.
