Art as a channel for reflection!

On Wednesday 20th August at 16:30, children aged 7-12 are invited to join an intriguing expressive portrait-drawing workshop taking place at the Grand Master’s Palace in Valletta.

Using only black markers on large communal paper, participants will create a continuous mural celebrating the important people in their lives – family, friends, teachers, and mentors.

As they draw, they will explore themes of empathy, belonging, and the rich diversity of community life. This workshop fosters creativity and emotional awareness while encouraging conversations about the relationships that shape who we are.

Tickets are just €10 (or €8 for Heritage Malta Members) and include entry for one accompanying adult. Book online on Store – Heritage Malta or visit any Heritage Malta site to reserve your spot.

The event lasts 1hr and 30mins.
Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.
Ages given are just a suggestion – this event can be enjoyed by students who are 2 years younger or older.

This activity forms part of Heritage Malta’s Student Passport Summer Programme 2025.
