Betrayal and Vengeance: The Slaves’ Conspiracy of 1749 in 19 historical drawings

On Saturday 8th March, Heritage Malta is inviting its esteemed members to a unique opportunity to experience the exhibition ‘Betrayal and Vengeance: The Slaves’ Conspiracy of 1749 in 19 Historical Drawings’ at the Inquisitor’s Palace in Birgu, before it concludes.

Two exclusive tours will be available:

Maltese – 09.00 am -9.45 am

English – 10.30 am-11.15 am

These tours will offer a historical overview of the 1749 slaves’ conspiracy, accompanied by an audio-visual presentation and in-depth analysis of primary and secondary sources related to the failed revolt.

This event is exclusively reserved for Heritage Malta members and tickets are free, but pre-booking is required via Store – Heritage Malta or at any Heritage Malta museum or site. Places are limited to ensure a personal and engaging experience for all participants.
