Art has long served as a powerful platform for expressing dissent and challenging the status quo.

On Wednesday 17th September at 16:30, Heritage Malta is putting the spotlight on the interesting intersection of art and activism, in a hands-on workshop for children aged 11 years and over, taking place at MUŻA in Valletta.

Through research, discussion, and creative expression, young participants will design and produce bold posters and banners addressing causes that matter to them. The workshop offers a safe space for young voices to explore how visual art can inspire change and promote justice.

Tickets are just €10 (or €8 for Heritage Malta Members) and include entry for one accompanying adult. Book online on http://www.heritagemalta.mt/store or visit any Heritage Malta site to reserve your spot.

The event lasts 1hr and 30mins.
Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.
Ages given are just a suggestion – this event can be enjoyed by students who are 2 years younger or older.

This activity forms part of Heritage Malta’s Student Passport Summer Programme 2025.
