  • Issue 1 highlights the conservation-restoration of a 17th-century terrestrial telescope, the rediscovery of the city of Birgu through rehabilitation and the scientific pigment changes through degradation. The issue also delves into the missing link of Agrippina the Younger from the Domvs Romana, tombstones from Medieval Gozo, the 19th-century officers’ mess at the Inquisitor’s Palace, re-discovery of a 19th-century collection of Pleistocene animal bones presumed lost, fresh insights from a Sir Temi Zammit archaeological field book, a different perspective in establishing the Gozo Museum, and the creating of an inventory and monitoring tool for Prehistoric Temples.
