Description
  • This scarf superimposes two artworks, one of which is the Fragment from a Choral Book showing a historiated initial and the other is a Holy Water Stoup which is an attribution to Antonello Gagini (1478-1536). The originally larger illuminated manuscript on parchment with a central highly ornate initial of the Letter ‘S’ is a Gothic script in black ink and the Medieval type of written symbols proves that this once complete score sheet was part of a choral book read by a singing choir during Roman Catholic mass. The Holy Water Stoup is represented as an outline which accentuates the highly polished marble and the decoration, made up of a garland, enhancing the elegant reedings.
