19/09 – From Cotton to Canvas: Weaving Sustainability

On Friday 19th September, Heritage Malta is inviting children aged 7-11 to discover the fascinating journey of cotton from plant to fabric, in a unique workshop at the Gran Castello in Ċittadella, Gozo.

Starting at 9:30am, young participants will learn about sustainable textile production and then create their very own woven artworks using natural fibres. The activity also puts a spotlight on how past generations embraced mindful consumption and valued handmade craftsmanship.

Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.
Ages given are just a suggestion – this event can be enjoyed by students who are 2 years younger or older.
