Due to on-going works on the construction of a protective shelter, Tarxien Temples will close to the public as from Monday 18th May 2015.
The project is being funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2007-2013, as part of the Archaeological Heritage Conservation Project.
The project will ensure that the site will be protected from the elements.
It is being envisaged that this site will reopen to the public by the end of this year.
